Small Crossed Roller Bearings

The small crossed roller bearings have high accuracy and prevent the increase of rotating torque because they are equipped with spacer keepers between the vertically arranged rollers, which prevent the rollers from falling sideways or the rollers from rubbing against each other. In addition, compared with the conventional type of iron plate retainer, there is no contact or locking of the rollers on one side. Stable rotational motion can be obtained even when preload is applied. Also, since the inner ring or outer ring is divided into two parts, it is possible to adjust the preload, so that rotational motion can be obtained.
The size of the inner and outer rings of the small crossed roller bearings is minimized, and the crossed roller bearings are particularly thin, so they are ideal for use in the joint or rotating part of industrial robots, the rotary table of machining centers, the rotary part of robots, precision rotary tables, medical equipment, measuring instruments, and IC manufacturing equipment.
